This is the newspaper of the new generation. Subscribe to relevant blogs, magazines and newspapers of your industry to receive up to date news and information. Browse carefully, as if an email, all new headlines, read the three most noteworthy and share them with colleagues. [10 minutes]

With over 350 million users (and counting), this social network is going to connect with the world. If you already have your business, create a "Fan Page", share relevant information and spread the word among friends. Daily check who your fans are, what are they saying and respond. [7 minutes]

This “new” trend will change the way we broadcast and share information (if you do not believe me, ask President Obama). Tweet your thoughts, quotes, links, blogs or any remarkable information in your industry. Also, take time to read what your "followers" are tweeting. [4 minutes]

Are you a businessman or a professional? Do you want to meet other people in your industry? LinkedIn is the Facebook for top executives, professionals and entrepreneurs from around the globe. Join in, share your resume and establish connections to enhance your business opportunities. [4 minutes]

One of 10 most visited pages in the world, YouTube has a massive amount of videos available for free. Search using the keywords of your industry and watch a short video, to stay on top of your game with new technologies, practices and trends. [5 minutes]

Social media is rapidly reshaping the business world, everywhere you go people want to Tweet, LinkedIn, YouTube or Facebook you.  Don’t fight it, join it; be a social networker! Share your world with the world. Be part of this monumental, fast paced, ever changing movement by investing only 30 minutes in a daily routine; it’s like taking your business to the gym.

La Administración de Reglamentos y Permisos de Puerto Rico es ineficiente.  Se encuentra atrasada en sus labores por utilizar métodos anticuados y poco vanguardistas para recolectar información.  De la misma forma carece de recursos para manejar las gestiones de perisología de las empresas de la Isla y la interacción con otras agencias.  Esta agencia está causandole grandes problemas a compañías de distintas industrias, pues el permiso de ARPE es requerido por otras agencias gubernamentales para ellas también brindar sus respectivas certificaciones, ya que el permiso de ARPE no es el único en el conglomerado de permisos y certificaciones que el Gobierno de Puerto Rico le requiere a las empresas que quieran hacer negocios en la Isla.  El problema está en que ARPE no está al día en sus gestiones, no obstante las otras agencias requieren su permiso a las empresas en un tiempo límite para ellos ofrecer sus certificaciones.  Si las empresas no cumplen con los tiempos límites establecidos por las diferentes agencias, poco a poco cada una de ellas cancela todo el proceso que tanto trabajo costo gestionar.  Al ocurrir esto la compañía debe comenzar el proceso nuevamente sin saber con certeza si le ocurrirá lo mismo nuevamente.
Esto es una pérdida de tiempo y dinero que afecta que empresas ya establecidas prevalezcan y que empresas que aspiran establecerse por primera vez lo hagan, pues sin los permisos correspondientes sería ilegal operar.  ¿Si queremos que nuestras empresas cumplan con la ley y no sean multadas o cerradas por tecnicismos que podemos hacer?

Puerto Rico necesita mejorar este sistema porque a la larga quien se perjudica es la economía del país y perdemos oportunidad para emplear personas que tanto necesitan trabajo.
